Connective tissue alternatives in soft tissue regeneration around teeth & implants

Résumé de la conférence : Soft tissue regeneration is currently one of the main considerations in periodontal and implant surgery. There is evidence of the importance and impact that periodontal phenotypes have on the evolution of periodontal diseases, as well as how they can influence the aesthetic results of restorative and prosthetic treatments.

More recently, the influence of the thickness and quality of the soft tissues surrounding the implants on the preservation and maintenance of the crestal bone, as well as the protection against peri-implant diseases, has been demonstrated.

In this lecture, the information needed for the regeneration of soft tissues around teeth and implants using the Porcine acellular dermal matrix will be addressed in a schematic and practical way. Through the design of clinical protocols based on the recommendations of scientific evidence, the necessary knowledge to start using alternatives to connective tissue autograft will be exposed.
